ARLINGTON, TEXAS — Adolis García delivered a walk-off single in the 11th inning, capping a comeback win for the Rangers, 5–4, over the White Sox on Saturday. Texas erased an early 2–0 deficit to take its third straight series and sixth win in seven games.
It was the Rangers’ first extra-inning game of 2025, ending a 70-game streak without one—the longest in franchise history. García’s game-winner marked his second walk-off hit this year and sixth since 2021, the most by any Ranger in that span.
Jacob deGrom logged his third straight quality start, giving up two runs over six innings with six strikeouts. Marcus Semien and Corey Seager each delivered RBI doubles, and Josh Smith extended his multi-hit streak to six games.
Texas improved to 35–36, just one game under .500, and remains undefeated on its current homestand. The White Sox, meanwhile, have now lost four straight and fell to 23–48.
