SEATTLE — The Dallas Wings couldn’t hold off a late surge from the Seattle Storm, falling 83-77 in their first 2025 Commissioner’s Cup matchup.

DiJonai Carrington led the way with a season-best 22 points and eight rebounds, while Myisha Hines-Allen added 16 points and 12 boards in her first double-double of the year. Dallas controlled the paint, dominated the boards (48-31), and led by eight at halftime, but couldn’t close it out.

The Storm flipped the game in the fourth with a 21-6 run that erased Dallas’ momentum. Despite a strong effort on the glass and 18 second-chance points, the Wings couldn’t convert late possessions into scores.

Now 1-6, Dallas heads home to face the Sparks Friday night at College Park Center in another Cup showdown.
