Stars on Brink of Elimination After Game 4 Loss to Oilers

EDMONTON, Alberta — The Dallas Stars are facing elimination after falling 4-1 to the Edmonton Oilers in Game 4 of the Western Conference Final.

Dallas couldn’t recover after surrendering two power-play goals to Leon Draisaitl and Corey Perry. Despite a second-period goal from Jason Robertson, the Stars struggled to generate sustained offense, and two late empty-netters sealed their fate.

Jake Oettinger made 29 saves in the loss, dropping to 5-11 in his career in conference final games. Roope Hintz returned to the lineup but couldn’t provide a spark.

The Oilers now hold a 3-1 series lead, having outscored Dallas 13-2 since Game 1. The Stars return home for Game 5, needing a win to extend their season.
