NFL 2025 Season to Kick Off with Eagles vs. Cowboys on Sept. 4

FRISCO, TEXAS — The 2025 NFL season will open with a blockbuster NFC East matchup as the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, September 4. The game will air at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

This marks the first time in over 20 years that these rivals will meet in a season opener. Fresh off a 40–22 Super Bowl win over the Chiefs, the Eagles return stars like Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert, and debut rookie running back Will Shipley.
