Avalanche Force Game 7 with Wild Win Over Stars

DENVER, COLORADO — A lucky deflection off a Dallas player gave Nathan MacKinnon the go-ahead goal as Colorado beat the Stars 7-4 in Game 6 to stay alive.

Valeri Nichushkin scored twice, and Cale Makar and Josh Manson added empty-netters. Colorado outshot Dallas 48-26.

Dallas rallied with four goals in the second, led by Roope Hintz and Mikko Rantanen, but couldn’t hold the lead. Game 7 is Saturday in Dallas.
