DALLAS — Dallas Trinity FC kept pace in the USL Super League playoff race with a 3-1 win over Lexington SC on Saturday night at the Cotton Bowl. A crowd of 4,753 saw Trinity move to 11-6-7 (40 points) on the season.

Tamara Bolt gave Dallas an early lead, scoring in the fifth minute off a pass from Deborah Abiodun. Lexington leveled the match in the 69th, but Sealey Strawn quickly put Trinity back on top with a goal just a minute later. Allie Thornton added her eleventh of the season in stoppage time to seal the win.

Bolt’s goal was her first since joining Dallas on loan from Washington Spirit. Strawn, a Prosper native, now has three goals this year and is committed to North Carolina. Thornton’s late strike kept her second in the league’s scoring charts.
