Stars Clinch Playoff Spot with 5-1 Win

SEATTLE, WA — Jason Robertson scored twice, and Jake Oettinger made 27 saves as the Dallas Stars secured a playoff berth with a 5-1 victory over the Seattle Kraken on Saturday night.

Robertson opened the scoring in the first period and added an empty-netter late in the third. Wyatt Johnston and Roope Hintz also found the net for Dallas, which extended its win streak to four games.

Jared McCann scored the lone goal for Seattle, which was outshot 35-28. Kraken goalie Joey Daccord stopped 30 shots in the loss.

The Stars, atop the Central Division, clinched their fifth straight playoff appearance with the win.
