DTFC Draws 1-1 in Spring Opener After Winter Break

DALLAS, TEXAS –Dallas Trinity FC resumed USL Super League action with a 1-1 draw against Tampa Bay Sun FC in their spring opener.

Lexi Missimo made an immediate impact in her Dallas debut, finding the back of the net just four minutes into the match. However, Tampa Bay responded in the 51st minute, with Parker Goins scoring her first goal for the Sun to equalize.

With the result, DTFC remains in second place with a 6-6-3 record, while Tampa Bay sits in fourth at 5-6-4.

Dallas returns to the Cotton Bowl on Saturday to host Spokane Zephyr FC at 4 p.m. CST.
