Ogunbowale Shines: All-WNBA Second Team Honors

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — Dallas Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale has been named to the All-WNBA Second Team for the second time in her career, adding to her impressive accolades that include First Team honors in 2020 and a spot on the 2024 Associated Press All-WNBA Second Team last month.

In the 2024 season, Ogunbowale led the WNBA in steals (2.13), free-throw percentage (.921), and minutes played (38.6). She also finished second in scoring (22.2 points per game) and eighth in assists (5.1). Notably, her scoring average is the highest in WNBA history for a player leading in steals, making her the first in league history to average 20-plus points, five-plus assists, and lead in steals in a single season.

Ogunbowale’s achievements highlight her dedication and talent, solidifying her status as one of the league’s elite players. Wings fans eagerly anticipate her future contributions as she continues to make her mark in the WNBA.
