Week 3 Injury Updates : Dallas Cowboys

FRISCO, TX – The Dallas Cowboys are heading into week three 2-0 and are facing off with the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon. Dallas hasn’t had any major issues with injuries, despite Demarvion Overshown tearing an ACL in the first preseason game. After Wednesday’s press conference with head coach Mike McCarthy we have an injury update.

Cowboys LG Tyler Smith has been struggling with a hamstring issue since the beginning of the season. He has missed the first two games for Dallas. According to McCarthy Smith will be practicing today, which is a first since the injury, and looks good to go for Sunday’s game against the Cardinals.

WR Brandin Cooks suffered a knee injury during the first game of the season. Due to that injury he missed the second game against the Jets. WR Jalen Tolbert took over for Cooks against the Jets and had some great catches in that game. Cooks had a full practice on Wednesday and is not expected to miss this Sunday’s game.

Safety Donovan Wilson also has missed the first two games of the season with a calf injury. He had a full practice on Wednesday.

RG Zack Martin rolled his ankle in the last game. He was not in attendance at practice today. Safety Jayron Kearse was not in attendance either.
