Wings Fall To Sky 104-96

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — The Dallas Wings knew what adjustments needed to be made to take the win against the Chicago Sky, but Chicago came out better prepared, taking down Dallas for the second time 104-96.

Satou Sabally led the team with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists.

The Wings had a much different start to today’s matchup and with a strong defensive start Dallas was able to keep the game within single digits.

In the second half the Dallas defense dwindled and the team struggled to sink three-point shots completing 2 of their 11 attempts.

Chicago continued to knock down three’s and played aggressive on defense to secure the weekend sweep of Dallas.

Head Coach Latricia Trammell said although it was a chippy game she is proud of the teams fight but now she is looking forward to playing the Las Vegas Aces who are coming off 38-point loss to the New York Liberty.

“We’ve got a hard stretch,” said Trammell. “If we can just survive until we finally get our break.”

UP NEXT: The Dallas Wings will remain at home to take on the Las Vegas Aces at College Park Arena. Tip off is a 7 p.m. Tuesday night.
