Satou Sabally Leads The Wings To A Win With 27 Points And An 11th Straight Double-Double

ARLINGTON, TX- A slow start to the game would not hold back the Dallas Wings from locking down on the Washington Mystics game this afternoon, taking them down 89-72.

Satou Sabally led Dallas to a win with 27 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists

The “unicorn” and “flash” duo were the ones to ignite a spark on the court.

Natasha Howard and Satou were unstoppable on offense combining for 22 points in the first half. Sabally with a good layup would close out the first half 37-33 for the Wings.

The Mystics came back from the half playing tough defense but it wasn’t enough to hold Arike Ogunbowale from knocking down shots and Satou Sabally from getting her 11th double-double this season.

Head Coach Latricia Trammell said post game that she is proud of the way Satou has used the adversity to fuel her game. Coach highlighted Satou has been sick but still went out and put up 27 points.

“She’s out on a mission this season,” said Trammell. “Just for her to experience this after the struggles in the past with injuries. I am just so happy for her.”

UP NEXT: The Dallas Wings will hit the road to Nevada for a tough matchup to take on the Las Vegas Aces. Becky Hammons team is currently on a 14-game home winning streak, the longest in franchise history.
