First Loss At Home, Dallas Wings Fall 79-61 To Los Angeles Sparks

ARLINGTON, TX- The Wings struggled to defend homecourt this afternoon losing at home for the first time this season against the Los Angeles Sparks 79-61, their lowest scoring game of the season.

Kalani Brown led the Wings with 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists.

The first half consisted of many turnovers that led the Wings to trail by 6-points

In the second half the Wings saw a glimpse of a win with a 2-point shot by Awak Kuier but the team was unable to pull away. The Los Angeles Sparks took over and closed the game out with their largest lead of 18 points.

Head Coach Latricia Trammell said what got them in this matchup was missing chip shots and turnovers.

“If you aren’t knocking down shots and you’re turning the ball over it’s going to be hard to win games,” said Coach Trammell.

UP NEXT: The Dallas Wings will take homecourt yet again Saturday against the Seattle Storm. Tip-off is at 1 PM.
