My name is Madeline Hunter and I am currently studying towards a BA in broadcast journalism major within the Gaylord College at The University of Oklahoma. I am a Texas native and have spent most of my life in Houston, but have recently planted new roots in Fort Worth, a town I have always felt was a second home to me.
Ever since I can remember I have been attending and watching various sporting events from collegiate football games, to my personal favorite, Houston Astros baseball games. Having grown up in a household with two older brothers and a dad who were major sports fans, I could not escape the constant sports dialogue.
Baseball has always held a special place in my heart and that passion for my teams and the sport as a whole is what has driven me to pursue a career surrounded by it.
During my time at The University of Oklahoma I have been involved in various student produced sports broadcasts such as Sooner Sports Pad, Gameday U, and OU Nightly. Most recently I was given the opportunity to be the Big Friday Sports Anchor for OU Nightly.
