Cowboys CeeDee Lamb Added To NFC’s Pro Bowl Roster

FRISCO, Texas – Cowboys’ wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was named to the 2022 Pro Bowl on Monday as Cooper Kupp’s replacement. Lamb was initially selected as an alternate in the NFL’s annual all-star exhibition, but his situation became clear with Rams’ wideout Cooper Kupp and 49ers’ gadget player Deebo Samuel playing in the NFC Championship Game. The Pro Bowl will take place on Sunday February 6 in Las Vegas.

In addition, Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans was named as a replacement for Davante Adams in the contest.

Lamb joins five other Dallas Cowboys who had previously been named to the squad: cornerback Trevon Diggs, right guard Zack Martin, left tackle Tyron Smith, linebacker Micah Parsons and punter Bryan Anger. Diggs, the NFL interception leader and Parsons, the league’s rookie leader in sacks, spearheaded Dallas’ cast making the trip to Las Vegas.

Despite only one catch during the wild-card playoff loss to the 49ers, Lamb compiled a productive campaign in 2021. The Oklahoma product led Dallas in receiving yards (1,102) and receptions (79) despite a struggling offensive line down the stretch and competing for targets amidst a myriad of offensive weapons. Lamb accumulated six touchdowns and once again made several highlight-worthy grabs between the hash marks.
