Spectacular Performance by Miles, Baugh, and O’Bannon leads TCU to a 71-63 win over Oral Roberts

FORT WORTH, TX – An electric performance by Mike Miles, Damion Baugh and Chuck O’Bannon led TCU to a 71-63 win over Oral Roberts Thursday.

TCU brought their A-game on both sides of the court, leading the Horned Frogs to victory.

In what was supposed to be a Miles vs. Max Abmas showdown, TCU defense held Abmas to zero points through most of the first half. Finding his shot in the second, the star guard finished the game with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists.

Similarly, Miles went scoreless for the first 30 minutes of play, but came alive in the second half to complete the game with 13 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists.

Despite leading the Frogs in scoring, Miles was not the only guy to have a great game.

Chuck O’Bannon was on fire for the duration of the game with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 3 big steals to give the Frogs momentum on defense. Back from injury, Damion Baugh also had himself a game with 13 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals.

Head Coach Jamie Dixon’s active rotation strategy was a strong contributor tonight as the whole team was unstoppable.

“I was really excited about our defense and what we did. We forced turnovers which we needed to do,” said Dixon. “We’re coming together each day and getting better.”

TCU will leave Fort Dixon and head down the road to Dickies Arena to take on the Utah Utes on Dec. 8 at 7 p.m.
