Rangers Hope To Prevent Sweep By Padres

ARLINGTON, Texas — Rangers fail to redeem themselves after a stunning no-hitter game Friday.Saturday the Rangers lost once again to the Padres. This game was better for the Rangers though they still lost 7-4.

Rangers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second inning but couldn’t sustain it. All three came in the bottom of the second after Kiner-Falefa doubled to deep center leading Tejada and White to home base. White then tripled to the deep left allowing Heim to run home.

The Rangers later scored in the bottom of the fifth after Kiner-Falefa homered to left. and held a 4-3 lead until the seventh inning Trent Grisham of the Padres then hit a go-ahead homer which led to Kim running to home base as well.

Rangers look to avoid the sweep by Padres on Sunday.
