Rangers, Plenty To Learn From Two Games

D210SPORTS

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Rangers fail to redeem themselves and have made history in two games back to back. Since 1972 the Rangers have given up the highest total through two games after giving up 25 runs. After facing off against the Royals for a second time the Rangers still didn’t get the job done.

“It’s just two games” some may say, but the Rangers have allowed 25 runs in two games. Rangers got off to a hot start, leading by four. It wasn’t until the fifth inning when the Royals put points up, and let’s just say they didn’t look back.

The Rangers defense seems a tad bit shaky although it’s just the beginning. “We take a lot of pride in the defense. We’ve got to clean that up if we want to win games.” Woodward said. The moves made in the off season seem to be little to no help as of right now, but manager Chris Woodward has no worries “The sky is not falling” he stated.

The Rangers must find a way to fix their play or this season will be a repeat of last year. The Rangers will be facing off against the Royals for a third time today looking for revenge and hoping to find answers in their defense. Play ball!
