3-0 TCU Hosts Northwestern State At Home

FORT WORTH, TX – After bringing home the championship trophy from the Hall of Fame Classic this past Thanksgiving weekend, TCU (3-0) will host Northwestern State (0-3) at home on Thursday night.

The Horned Frogs are starting off the season on a high note, they are 3-0 coming into this game and are feeling good after this past weekend’s wins in Kansis City.

Nembhard led TCU to a championship win over Liberty 56-52 on Sunday afternoon. He had 14points and 6 rebounds. Francisco Farabello, Taryn Todd, and Kevin Samual had 24 combined points.

Even though the Horned Frogs are undefeated, TCU still needs to execute better on offense. They shot 40 percent from the floor against Liberty and struggled getting anything going offensively. Their free throw shooting and intense defense led them to the win.

Northwestern State is coming into Schollmaier Arena 0-3 on the season. TCU will have to shutdown senior guard, Jarius Roberson and senior forward, Jamaure Gregg. Roberson has scored in the double-digits the last two games, Gregg has scored in the double-digits in all three games this season including a career high 21 points against Louisiana Tech.

Gregg is a serious threat on the offensive side and can crash the boards hard giving the Demonsmore offensive opportunities. TCU will need to shut these two key players down in order to take the win.The game will be Thursday, December 3rd at 7 p.m.
