Cowboys Strength Coach Markus Paul Update: Keep Praying and Believing

FRISCO, Texas — It has been a solemn week for the Dallas Cowboys leading up to the Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Washington Football Team. On an already quick turnover from Sunday’s win over the Vikings, practice was cancelled on Tuesday after Cowboys’ Strength and Conditioning Coordinator, Markus Paul, suffered a medical emergency.

The Paul family is continuing to ask for prayer and the niece of Markus, Antoinette Paul Ramos released an update on Wednesday morning via Twitter:

“My uncle Markus is surrounded by lots of love! His wife has been by his side and his children were flown in last night. His father, siblings, and nieces are also flying over to Dallas this morning. Keep praying and believing everyone. He is in the best of hands!”

On the day of thanks, the Cowboys will be battling on the field with heavy hearts and for a different cause, they will be fighting for Markus.
