SMU Falls To Houston

HOUSTON, Texas — The Mustangs fell to No. 12 Houston, 90-79 Thursday night. Jahmal McMurray racked up 24 points and Ethan Chargois was right behind him with 21 points for the Mustangs. SMU recorded the highest points and field goal percentage that was made against Houston this season.

The Cougars are 28-2 and 15-2 in the AAC and they clinched a shared title for American Athletic Conference regular-season. SMU had a close first half hitting 68 percent from the floor and racking up 7 of 10 3-point shots.

The Mustangs are on the road again to take on USF Sunday at 3 p.m. CT.
