Big 12 Media Day

Big Media Days, Day 2 Wrap Up

FRISCO, Texas — Baylor, West Virginia, Texas, Oklahoma State and Kansas State were the remaining Big 12 Teams to wrap up Big 12 Media Days, Tuesday in Frisco, Texas at the Ford Center.

Much like Monday, the question was, who’s starting at Quarterback? Texas Coach Tom Herman will name a starter until opening day. Kansas State Coach Bill Synder brought 2 Quarterbacks to Frisco, stating it’s a open competition.

Oklahoma State Head Coach Mike Gundy says Taylor Cornelius was his starter heading into preseason camp but hasn’t ruled out Hawaii transfer Dru Brown and four-star freshman Spencer Sanders.

Only West Virginia will head into the season with a starter at QB. Heisman candidate senior Will Grier is a 20-to-1 favorite. Grier threw for 3,490 yards and 34 touchdowns to just 12 interceptions in essentially ten games before a finger injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season.
