ARLINGTON, TX – Sharon Robinson daughter of Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson, MLB Educational Programming Consultant and author visited the Texas Rangers MLB Youth Academy at Mercy Street Sports Complex presented by Toyota in support of the Breaking Barriers: In Sports, In Life character education program & essay contest.
Sharon, who is making these special trips in recognition of Black History Month, toured the facilities at the Academies, spoke with the students about her father, and helped them as they ed own essays that will be submitted in the Breaking Barriers essay contest.
Following this appearance and her trip later in the week to Houston, Sharon will now have visited all operating facilities in the MLB Youth Academy network.
