WINGS FALL TO THE STORM

Arlington, TX– The Dallas Wings hosted the Seattle Storm this evening, falling to a score of 89-69. It was the Wings first loss in five games. Glory Johnson led the team for the night recording her seventh double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

After being up through most of the first quarter, the Storm caught up, to end the first 19-17 and take the game. The Wings held on through the half, keeping the Storm at bay, with just a nine-point lead.

Breanna Stewart led the Storm scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds. Sue Bird recorded her 2500th assist tonight, dishing out a total of eight.

Two other Wings players recorded double figures for the night joining Johnson. Allisha Gray scored 15 points, and three steals. The steals marked as a new season high for the rookie. Skylar Diggins-Smith also saw double digits with 13. She led the team in total assists dishing out four.
