Karissa Valadez graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. Born in Dallas, Texas, Karissa grew up watching all of her favorite local sports teams and also played a variety of sports since the age of five.
During her undergraduate years at UNT she reported and produced for her schools weekly newscast called The North Texas Daily. She is excited to pursue a career in sports and hopes to become a sideline reporter for professional football.
