Norrelle Dickson is originally from Orange, California and grew up playing softball, soccer, basketball, and track. She also participated in television commercials and movies during her childhood. After graduating high school, Norrelle accepted a full scholarship to the University of Oklahoma to play softball for the Sooners. She was an elite scholar athlete all four years at University of Oklahoma and was a 3 time All-American, 2007 Big 12 Player of the Year, and Academic All-American.

Norrelle traveled and played internationally representing the USA in Pan American Games in Hermosillo, Mexico; The Junior Olympics in Nanjing, China and The University Games in Tai’nan City, Taiwan. During that time in Oklahoma she completed an internship at KWTV News 9 in Oklahoma City, and worked as a freelance reporter for the Oklahoma High School Sports Express television show and also worked as the Sooner Sports Network Softball Color analyst both on  radio and television.

Norrelle graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications in 2007, and was the 7th pick in the first round of the National Pro-Fast pitch League draft. After two successful seasons with the Akron Racers she returned home to California and continued her career in sports broadcasting and worked in the media department of the WNBA Los Angeles Sparks and worked in the sports department at CBS/KCAL 9 in Los Angeles. Recently Norrelle found her way to the Dallas area to follow her dream of being a sports reporter.

During her time in Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex Area Norrelle has worked as the sideline reporter for the Millennium Sports Network and Time Warner Metro Sports while also doing freelance sports reporting for DFW Reporting.
