Janette R. Smith grew up all over the world as the daughter of an Air Force Lt. Colonel but spent most of her time in the south after his retirement. Alabama is where her family calls home. Currently Janette is CEO of Mirror Media Solutions – (Dallas, TX / Atlanta, GA) – a video production, branding and web design company.

Prior to starting her own business in 2009 Janette served as Media Director for F. Hammond Family Ent. Corp, an independent entertainment company headed by Grammy Award winning, Platinum gospel artist Fred Hammond. Prior to joining Mr. Hammond’s team, she served as the Executive Director over Media for Creflo Dollar Ministries which has a broadcast reach of nearly 1 billion homes worldwide.

Janette is more widely known for hosting “Ask DIY”-a syndicated home improvement show for the D.I.Y. Network as well as custom specials about *Habitat for Humanity* on HGTV.

Ms. Smith is an Emmy,Telly and Aurora award-winning broadcast journalist with 22 years experience reporting and anchoring in Cincinnati, Atlanta and Dallas and Huntsville, AL where she started her career.
