Briana Bolton is a bilingual Spanish/English reporter. Bolton double majored in Broadcast Communications and Spanish at the University of Texas at Arlington. She also studied abroad at the Latin American University of Science and Technology in San José, Costa Rica.
While in Costa Rica, she lived with a host family and spent her spare time building houses in poverty-stricken areas. She took the native phase of “Pura Vida” as her life motto.
Bolton grew in her broadcast experience by interning at WFAA-TV (ABC) 8 and KTVT-TV (CBS) 11, both stations are in the top #5 market in the nation. In addition to this she was the online content producer for The Shorthorn and the director of promotions for UTA Radio.
Bolton was also a top contender in the Miss Texas USA pageant and a former Miss Texas Teen for National American Miss.
