Shia LaBeouf says he’ll only regain about “80-something percent” of the function in his left hand, which he broke last September in a car accident. “I’ve had screws and plates put in,” he tells Entertainment Weekly. “They put a screw in one of my knuckles. They shaved a piece of bone off my hip and made a finger out of it.” LaBeouf — who had his drivers license suspended for a year after the collision (he refused a breathalyzer test at the scene) — says he’s on his third surgery. “That’s coming up in a week or two,” he says. “My middle finger is still crooked as a fing noodle, so they’ve gotta straighten it out and put a screw in it. “I’ll be able to make a fist again,” he continues.
