The Dallas Cowboys hit their stride in a 28-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football in Week 3. With the win, Dallas snapped a four-game losing streak against the Cardinals, including a three game losing streak in Arizona. The win also gave Dallas its 100th win against the NFC West.
Quarterback Dak Prescott completed 13-of-18 passes with two touchdowns in the victory. It is the fifth game of Prescott’s career in which he has completed at least 70% of his throws and thrown at least two touchdowns.
DeMarcus Lawrence posted a career high 3 sacks in the game to mark his fourth career third consecutive multi-sack game also becomes the 10th Cowboys defender to record at least 3 sacks in a game and the first since DeMarcus Ware had 4 on Oct. 30, 2011 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Cowboys return home this Sunday to avoid a letdown on a short week as they take on the Los Angeles Rams who will be well rested after holding on to a 41-39 win over the San Francisco 49ers last Thursday Night.
Considering the weapons from both teams, this Week 4 match up will have plenty of offense.
