Out of the explosion of diverse late night talk show hosts this season, from the yelling Mo’nique on cable to George Lopez, who starts on Monday, the one show featuring a comic that may be worth a watch is “The Wanda Sykes Show” (Fox, 11 p.m.). The acid, complaining and often hilarious comedian who has risen in key roles on “The New Adventures of Old Christine,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and, yes, her own failed sitcom (“Wanda at Large”), recently hit some high points with her gig at the White House Correspondents Dinner and even funner HBO special this fall, “I’ma Be Me,” it looks like she’s ready to take on the late night market, especially in a slot where Spike Feresten formerly sat at a desk for a few years, and “Mad TV” once tried to give that other network late night sketch show a run for its money.
