The Dallas Mavericks beat the short-handed Cleveland Cavaliers 93-82 Saturday night at The American Airline Center in Dallas, Texas as they improve their preseason record to 4-1. Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavericks with 19 points after playing only three quarters while Kris Humphries dropped in 12 points and nine rebounds.
The Cavaliers were led by Jamario Moon’s 18 points and 10 boards with Jawad Williams pouring in 13 points. For the second straight night LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal and Mo Williams did not play.
The Dallas Mavericks Josh Howard, Shawn Marion and Tim Thomas were held out of Saturday nights preseason game due injuries but should be ready for the season opener.
