Leighton Meester drops new single

Leighton Meester has unleashed a brand new single called “Somebody to Love” on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Tuesday, October 13. Featuring Robin Thicke, the song is made available for digital purchase on October 14 and serves as the lead single from her upcoming debut album.

“I really wanted to make something that’s completely different from anything that’s on the radio right now,” Leighton told Ryan. “I feel like it’s really dancy and fun, but it’s still laid back and relaxed and moody and sexy.”

There haven’t been any release date and working title for the album. But, several names have been attached to make contribution. They are Harvey Mason Jr. (Justin Timberlake, Pink), Polow Da Don (Usher, Stacy Ferguson a.k.a Fergie), Spencer Nezey of Jupiter Rising, JR Rotem and Kara DioGuardi.
