Nine Inch Nails Grow Little Longer

MTV, VH1 & CMT Special ReAct Now : Music & Relief

Via a Tweet on the insanely popular Twitter network, Trent Reznor tipped his fans off to the fact that Nine Inch Nails will be touring smaller venues than those they recently hit up with the successful “NIN/JA” tour with Jane’s Addiction and Street Sweeper Social Club. Citing rushed sets and playing during the very undramatic and less satisfying daylight hours as reasons for this quickie tour, Reznor went on to explain that “it just didn’t feel right to end NIN that way.” They will be playing NYC venues Bowery Ballroom, Webster Hall and Terminal 5. Additionally they’ll be hitting up the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago as well as The Wiltern, The Henry Fonda, The Palladium and The Echoplex in Los Angeles. Reznor promises the shows to be “cool, unusual and unique”, ending with “this is it”, perhaps a nod to the name of the never-to-be-realized Michael Jackson tour that was to take place later this year.
